Lebanon didn’t just produce olive oil. It gave it to the world. Over 6,000 years ago, the ancient Canaanites who lived on this land were among the first people on earth to press olives into oil. The oldest living olive trees in the world, known as “The Sisters,” still stand today in northern Lebanon and are believed to be 6,000 years old, living proof of how deep this relationship runs. It was the Phoenicians, born from this same soil, who then sailed across the Mediterranean and introduced olive oil to the rest of civilization. Lebanon didn’t borrow this tradition. It started it.

Our olive oil comes from Al Koura, a breathtaking village in the Jbeil district where natural beauty is both wild and tamed. Set on a plateau at the foot of a mountain, the village overlooks apple terraces and steep valleys that seem to flow endlessly across one of Lebanon’s largest estates. Circular ponds run through this unique rural landscape like lost moons in an enchanted valley. The famous Roueiss grotto and a rock-cut church tracing back to a Roman temple are quiet reminders that this land has been sacred for a very long time.
